Tax Avoidance

Tax is an essential tool to ending inequality through its ability to transform the economy. Tax revenues collected by governments in Australia are key to providing public services such as healthcare, education and transport infrastructure for everyone. We all rely on the public services funded by tax. Yet tax dodging by some big businesses and the mega-rich is contributing to inequality, costing Australia more than $8 billion dollars a year in tax revenue.

We urge you to prayerfully consider your important vote this election. The tax avoidance policies of the main parties, listed in alphabetical order, can be found below for your consideration:
